Here are Ben’s top 5 TV REAL dogs of all time! What qualifies a dog as a REAL dog in his mind? Why their ability to get into trouble and their love of chasing cats – of course!

5) Lassie - Lassie scores a zero in the cats department, I mean, come on, I think he even SAVED a cat a time or two, but he DID save his boy Timmy over and over again, so being nice to his human friends earns him a spot on my list.
4) Murray the Dog from MAD ABOUT YOU – Murray wasn’t a troublemaker and he didn’t chase cats – but what he excelled in was extreme laziness!
3) Dino from The Flintstones – See it’s not OUR fault that we want to chase cats – it’s in our genes! Even in prehistoric days dogs chased cats…well ok pet dinosaurs chased sabertooth cats, but you know what I mean.
2) Eddie the Dog -Frasier - Eddie always confounded his human owners, always got into trouble at the most inopportune moment and worse yet took scoldings for things that he was NOT responsible for and he took the verbal abuse like a man…dog…man…aw you know what I mean!
1) TIGER on The Brady Bunch – He did things right – he chased away the girl’s cat Fluffy in the first season, that darned cat was never to be seen of again! Dogs rule! Cats drool!
