The Dog Whisperer nominated for an Emmy Award

The nominations for the 61st annual Emmy Awards were announced today and at Muttnews we are proud to report that Cesar Millan’s series The Dog Whisperer which airs on the National Geographic Channel has been nominated for an emmy award for Outstanding Reality program. It is up against some diverse competition- but I have to think that the show that is all about giving dogs a new leash on life has to have a good chance with the Emmy voters. I mean- how many shows on TV have made allusions to the Dog Whisperer? Cesar himself made a guest appearance on Bones last season even! New episodes of the show return to Nat Geo in the fall- stay tuned here at Muttnews- we will let you know details about new episodes when they air.
